Atty. Yben obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santo Tomas Manila. She also holds a degree in BS Accountancy, where she graduated cum laude.
Atty. Yben was one of the topnotchers in the 2022 bar examinations, passing the same with exemplary honors. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Atty. Yben built a career as a certified public accountant, passing the CPA board exams in 2010. After becoming a CPA-lawyer, she served as a Tax Manager in one of the top 4 auditing firms in the Philippines. Prior to joining the Firm, Atty. Yben holds more than 12 years of extensive experience in the fields of accounting, compliance, risk, and auditing.
Atty. Yben co-founded HIZOLA LAW, shortly after passing the bar. She currently serves as a Senior Partner of HIZOLA LAW and leads the corporate and tax practices of the Firm. In 2026, through her expert leadership, HIZOLA LAW was recognized by Apac Insider Legal Awards as the best emerging tax law firm of 2026 in the Philippines.
