Atty. Jom earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santo Tomas where he also obtained a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. In 2024, Atty. Jom was recognized by the Asian Business Outlook Magazine as one of top ten most promising corporate consultants in the Philippines.
Atty. Jom topped the bar in 2022 with exemplary honors. After becoming a lawyer, Atty. Jom served as chief legal counsel and data privacy officer for the Philippine branch of a Fortune 500 company. Prior to becoming a practicing lawyer, Atty. Jom has more than 10 years of experience in consumer protection, financial services, business process outsourcing, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Atty. Jom founded HIZOLA LAW in 2022, shortly after passing the bar with one goal in mind: to make premium legal servicing more accessible to the general public. He currently serves as the Managing Partner of HIZOLA LAW and leads the litigation and maritime practice of the Firm. In 2026, through his leadership, HIZOLAW LAW was awarded by Apac Insider Legal Awards as the best emerging maritime law firm of 2026 in the Philippines.
